Friday, May 10, marked the 61st annual AT&T Byron Nelson Championship which paid tribute to namesake Byron Nelson’s remarkable athletic and, more importantly, humanitarian efforts. Nelson, who scored 54 career victories, two PGA Championships, a U.S. Open, and, most notably, 18 golf tournaments — 11 straight — dedicated his time, talents, and funds to make this a better world for the underprivileged. In 1968, Nelson lent his name to this tournament to raise money for kids and families in the community.

All proceeds of the AT&T Byron Nelson Championship, held at the Trinity Forest Golf Club in Dallas for the second year in a row, were donated to the Momentous Institute to build and repair children’s social-emotional health. Since its beginning, the tournament has raised over $160 million for the Momentous Institute, powered by the Salesmanship Club of Dallas, and transformed over 100,000 lives.

It’s for this reason we were excited to sponsor a hospitality suite on the 18th green for the 5th consecutive year. We invited valued customers and partners including FFE, KL Breeden & Sons, Southern Glazer’s Wine and Spirits, Glazer’s Beer and Beverage, Fort Worth Carrier, Seagate Holdings, Isaacs Services, C4 Fuels, and Omnitracs’ 2018 Channel Partner of the Year, Gentrifi, to join us with good food, drinks, and networking opportunities while watching the next generation of golf legends emerge.

Join us in working to better our communities and industry by supporting the Momentous Institute, Truckers Against Trafficking, and Wreaths Across America.
