Should You Go Beyond Compliance? Fleet Owner’s Webinar Explores the Options

The clock is ticking on the ELD mandate and after the years-long wait-and-see period, on its expected publish date of Oct. 30, the time for compliance will all be upon us. If your fleet is facing the new reality and has yet to adopt an ELD solution, it’s likely that you’re either contemplating an investment in a simple solution that only ensures compliance on hours of service, or one that goes beyond basic compliance and looks to improve operational efficiency.

If your fleet is faced with these decisions, I encourage you to watch Fleet Owner’s October 1 webinar, “ELDs: Should You Go Beyond Basic Compliance?” This free webinar addresses this issue and features Todd Davis, president of Davis Transfer, Inc., and Luke Olin, director of transportation at Upper Lakes Foods, Inc., and their approach to the ELD mandate.

Since regulators first began working on the rulemaking, the sophistication and capabilities of fleet management technology has advanced remarkably. Today, fleets can chose to take advantage of a number of other ELD-related capabilities that are not required, but could take their business to the next level in terms of operational efficiency, service and profitability.

Long-time Omnitracs customers, Todd and Luke share their insight and experience on the technology deployment and preparations they made with their teams in advance of the mandate. Viewers will learn that while the changes their fleets made were not easy, it did lead to improvements with benefits that span from their drivers to back office staff.
