NDAA Compliance Standards

Dear Omnitracs Customer,

We have conducted a thorough review of our NDAA compliance standards. We have reached the following conclusion:

The National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) is a series of United States federal laws specifying the annual budget and expenditures of the U.S. Department of Defense.

Most recently, the John S. McCain National Defense Authorization Act of 2019, Section 889, has prohibited the U.S. government from procuring video and telecommunication equipment directly from specific companies from China and their subsidiaries.

Omnitracs has completed a thorough assessment of our products and supply base, and we have concluded that our direct suppliers and Tier 1 suppliers comply with the NDAA 2019, Section 889.

Omnitracs also has enhanced internal vetting processes for sourcing new vendors, in addition to ongoing validations of Section 889 for compliance purposes.

Sincerely,

John Hofmann
