Garth Pitzel

Garth Pitzel - Director, Safety and Driver Development, Bison Transport

Garth Pitzel joined Bison Transport, a Winnipeg-headquartered transportation company with a fleet of 2,100 tractors and 2,600 trailers, in 2000. He currently serves as the Director of Safety and Driver Development. Bison has received first place in the Truckload Carriers Association’s (TCA) National Fleet Safety Awards 15 consecutive times. In addition, Bison received the Truckload Carriers Association's (TCA) National Fleet Safety Award Grand Prize in the large carrier division 10 consecutive times. 

Anthony Triggs

Anthony Triggs - Director of Safety, D.M. Bowman

Anthony Triggs began his career in trucking as a CDL-A Licensed Driver. After graduating from Shepherd University in Washington, D.C., he held positions in operations and driver recruitment. He has been at D.M. Bowman since 1997, where he is currently the Director of Safety.

Don Osterberg

Don Osterberg - Safety Advisor, Omnitracs

Don is currently the safety advisor for Omnitracs (formerly SmartDrive) and formerly served as senior vice president of safety, security and driver training for Schneider. His distinguished career in commercial transportation spans several decades, and he is a recognized authority on carrier safety, having held leadership roles with organizations including the National Safety Council, FMCSA Motor Carrier Safety Advisory Committee, American Trucking Association's Safety Policy Committee and American Transportation Research Institute's Research Advisory Committee.
